working on a 2 audio stream rip. dvd2svcd is telling my my bitrate is too high.. i'm lost as to how it's getting the information.
movie runtime 93min 33sec (5613 seconds)
stream 1 is set to 224
stream 2 is set to 128
for bitrate calculating i have always done it on my own, with a forumla a friend gave me.
{cd(in kiloBITS)/(movie time in minutes X 60)} - 224 = new avg. bitrate.
can also subtract another 128 from that for possible 2nd audio stream, and that should leave us with our max possible bitrate, per second
cd size bit values....
1cd 795mb * 1024 * 8 = 6,512,640
2cd’s 795mb * 1024 * 8 * 2 = 13,025,280
3cd’s 795mb * 1024 * 8 * 3 = 19,537,920
4cd’s 795mb * 1024 * 8 * 4 = 26,050,560
math with MY calculations.
93mins 33 sec = 5613 seconds
2 cd's @ 795mb = 13,025,280
13,025,280\5613 = 2321 max bitrate
2321 - 224 = 2097 max bitrate for 1 audio stream
2321 - 224+128 = 1969 max bitrate for 2 audio streams
i did edit the time values in the bitrate tab in dvd2svcd..
000-060 use 1 @ 800 = ????-1457
060-110 use 2 @ 800 = 3280-1623
110-150 use 3 @ 800 = 2616-1821
150-180 use 4 @ 800 = 2550-2064
max/min 2450/300 minav/maxav 1969/2100
i do have the "warn if too high" box checked.
when i click for the conversion to start, it's telling me i got a 2802 total bitrate going on.
my concern isnt the complaince, i wont do a non complaint rip.
my questions where is the descrepency... me or dvd2svcd.
any help much appreciated.
