almost all of the beastie boys clips are awesome, intergalactic and body movin' i have in good quality (ready for DVD)

Altough I think it would be more fair to put the name of the director, most of the people don't know who did what, anyway :) .

Some of my favorites:

Beastie Boys - Sabotage (70's C movie style, perfect, I still don't know why the R.E.M. spot got the award back then)

Radiohead - Street spirit (probably my favorite music video, beautiful b/w picture, great playing with slow motion/real time and, of course, the great song from Radiohead)

Radiohead - Just (I still think about the thing the person on the floor said :D )

Pearl Jam - Do the evolution (Frightening, if nothing else)

And any rappers video spot where you can see woman with big, er, personality :D . LOL

Have you watched the Fantastic voyages on the ZDF? The episode "Alptraume" (I hate the neue deutsche Rechtschreibung "Albtraume"), you could see "Africa shocks" (hope that's the correct name), "Come to daddy"...

I have the episode on a crappy mono-VHS, taped it when I was in Germany a few weeks ago.

I wondering, but on DC++ network the music videos
have a really nice qulaity. Just downloaded some of
YOUR favourites this weekend and burnt on VCD.

They really look better than watching MTV. No joke!

Ookami, I haven't seen Fantastic Voyages, but some time ago, when Viva 2 was still broadcasting, they brought a special on Chris Cunningham and played all of his videos. I captured all and encoded them to VCD-mpeg (it was quite some time ago, I think before Divx 4 came out).

"Come to Daddy" was the first video I ever encoded to Divx 4, I think. I can still remember I was amazed by the quality (had not been working with Nandub before, only with Divx 3.11 low motion, so...)

There are lots of mpeg-1's around since video jukeboxes get theiir content distributed on VCD....

To find Divx's you'll have to look around on the net, file sharing.... Most of the divx's aren't much better at tv resolution anyway, especially since it's only a 3-6 minute clip....
