Speed Detection Errors in DVD Decrypter

I have a DVD-R 104 Pioneer Drive, and DVD-Decrypter detects it as an 1x drive even though its a 2x Drive. What is the problem?

The speed of your drive is dependent on the type of DVD you are using. Some DVD's are only rated as 1x and others are 2X.

The problem is that I initialize DVD Decrypter without any DVD-R inserted. It automatically detects the DVD-R Drive as if it could only burn at 1x.

How can this be?

Doh! Thats because it found one of them, it's not related to the speed in any way, shape or form.
