Well it's not truely a big problem but i have created a thumbnail button in spruceup and linked it to my video file, what i want to do is show in the thumbnail the logo of the movie e.g. "alien resurrection" which is about 1 min into the movie, but when you click on it it plays from the begining of the movie and not from the chapter point that you created at the position of the logo.

is this possible, to make the thumbnmail shaw a different part of the movie, but not actually play for that part when run.??

regards
Rob

Try this:

Put your button on the MAIN MENU page.
Go to the CLIPS window, and right click on your movie.
A chapter window should appear.
At the bottom left, there is a small window that shows the thumbnail of the present chapter. For chapter 1, click on the right pointing arrow just to the right of that window. Click on it until you get to the display that you want to show as your thumbnail.

Now, like that button to your movie, chapter 1.

A drawback, is if you use thumbnails in a chapter selection menu, this display will also show there (but I find that acceptable - I just name the chapter OPENING CREDITS, or something).

I'm not sure if I remember correectly, but isn't there an "eye" and a "Flag" that you move around when you create chapters. The flag specify the start of the chapter, but the eye specify the picture of the thumbnail. So I think it is possible to do this by just moving the eye to a different location than the flag.
