Hi all,

Please help me, I'm using DVD Maestro Version 2.5 in Windows 2000.
When I tried to drag quite a large video file (m2v) around 1.5 - 2 GB from the video assets box to the movie window it always gives me this error : "The Video Asset length is greater than the maximum allowed".

Why is this so? can anybody help me?

Thanks

PS: when I tried using a smaller video file like 100 MB it seems to be OK without any error.

Hello Arky and BRU,

After hours of ripping, stripping, and encoding, I have found that I don't have a authoring software to put things together. I have looked around everywhere but i couldn't find any downloadable, they don't have trial version any more...

If there are no trials, then why are you asking for a trial?!?

You are very close to violating Rule 6 ("...links to files of a questionable nature").

I have not given you a strike because you used the word "trial". HOWEVER, I am of the opinion that you probably know very well that there is not trial of Maestro, so lets just count this as a warning, and say no more. If you cannot find what you are looking for, then you will just have to persevere. If you look long and hard enough, the Net usually yields what you seek.

Arky, you're right how can I be so stupid.
I wasn't in the forum for nearly 5 months and now I'm back in DVD authoring and accidentally installed a wrong version :(( So I went and post here about it not remembering I had this problem before..

Anyway, it's okay now, I use version 2.9xx and it works fine.

Thanks.
