ffdshow? Thoughts and theories??

Howdy, was just wondering if someone might know some general or decent settings the ffdshow filter can be setup using, which give reasonable results with divx video files?

Anything to look out for or tweak in ffdshow which might improve the quality of my movies?

Of course people might have different ideas and there is no one general rule, but was just wondering what other people like to do with this program?

Is it any good even?? Anything better out there perhaps??

Look mate, some people here do get quite pissed off because of double posts. I reckon your post on the XVid forum has more logic since usually people talk about ffdshow over there.
If you do some searches in that post you will learn about what ffdshow is and does.
And very important:
Read the forum rules before you post!
