I visited kwag's site and there is a listing of dvd player compatibility with using these templates. It seems like there are a lot of players that have problems playing these mpegs. Compatibility is a big concern to me since I play my svcds on more than one player. One of my players isn't listed so I will have to test it out. The site also states you get 60 mins of video (full dvd frame size) per 80 min cd. That's about what I put on a standard svcd anyway. I'm interested in seeing if it really is "a step beyond cvd and svcd". Let you know.

Hi Mac,
Just download the sample and burn it as an SVCD. If your DVD player plays SVCD's and CVD's, then it should play SKVCD's without any problem.

They play svcds (never tried cvds) so I will try it and let you know. You got me really interested to see if it is really better quality than standard svcd. Prob play around with it this weekend. Thanks
