Greets, distinguished forum users!

Perhaps an innocent question but one that leaps out at me.. when encoding via TMPGEnc the resulting output always seems to have that logo thing in the upper right hand corner--the block of squares. How to turn that off or get rid of it?

That is not Tmpeg !

Simply change your mpeg2 directshow filter ... :)

Great.. thanks for the feedback. This one had me puzzled. Before I went any further with TMPEG I figured I'd best get a handle on this.

I'll poke around and see what I can do. Hopefully it will not be a followup saying "..and how do I do that?.."

Thanks!

I was kind of flying blind on this one, but I found a set of filters from Vorbis and installed them. The logo thing was gone!

I never knew that was from Elecard though. Y'know, I've seen MEGS from several other people with that logo stuck in the upper right corner. I'll bet they never knew where it came from or how to get rid of it either.

Thanks to you and the great forum members here for the feedback!

Ehhh, that logo is not burned into the movie. You only will see it when playing the file using the elecard mpeg2 decoder. If you don't see it, you are probably playing an mpeg1 file.
