I'm tring a backup of collateral damage, but a problem has came up. The movie has 6 PGC's. PGC 1 is the main movie with 3 audio tracks 0x80,0x81,0x82 and 3 subtitle tracks, and 32 chapters. PGC5 is also the Main movie with just one audio track 0x83, and 33 chapters. I.m tring to use Senarist Pro to reauthor the PGC's. but can't figure out how,or where to get PGC 5 in to the project. If I use the same video track as PGC 1 the final size is way to big. I thought that maybe there was 2 video files there, but if there is I can't find a way to stip it out of the dvd. I tried using dvd decrypter, and strip each PGC, but its the same size both ways. can anybody give any info on this problem and how to fix it.:confused:

what i ended up doing with this movie was keeping only pgcs 1-4, and dropping 5 and 6. basically, pgc 5 is the movie played with commentary when you select it from the menu. so, since i removed all prohibitions, to listen to the commentary, i just have to switch it manually after playing the movie. not a biggie really.

i tried to recreate pgc 5 with the commentary audio, and it played fine on my computer if i remember correctly, but not on my pioneer standalone. what i did was simply create 5 pgcs in the scenario editor, then dragged the main movie track to the pgc 1 and 5, which didn't duplicate the video/audio at all, just seemed to reference it for both pgc's.

maybe someone else has some ideas cause i was just experimenting and after it didn't play i just droped pgc5 like i said above.

Hey RECT, Thanks for the info but i got the movie to work fine. i just put a dummy file in PGC5, I found out that PGC 5 was not the commentary but was just a 2nd english 2ch track witch was totally worthless as far as i could see, i put all three of the audio tracks
in PGC1 and it worked just like the original with commentary.

The lay out in Senarist of VTS_02 was as follows:
PGC1
Video:main movie
Audio:1=0x80 english 5.1
2=0x81 french 5.1
3=0x82 english commentary 2.0
Subtitles:1=english
2=french
3=spanish
PGC2
Video:cell1=first play
cell2=rating screen
Audio:1=0x80 english first play sound
2=0x81 french first play sound
Subtitles:N/A Don't worry about them
PGC3
Video:0xE0
Audio:1=0x80
PGC4
Video:0xeo dummy file run as slide show
Audio:None
PGC5
Video:put the dummy file from pgc4 in here
Audio:None
PGC6
Video:0xE0 I think this was the trailer
Audio:1=0x80 ENGLISH 5.1
2=0x81 FRENCH 5.1
3=0x82 ENGLISH COMMENTARY 2.0
4=0x83 PUT DUMMY AC3 FILE HERE
5=0x84 ENGLISH TRAILER SOUND
ok I think thats it, just build the files in Senarist

To burn I used geardvd pro
delete VTS_01_0 AND VTS_03_0 (NO FISICAL SIZE)OTHER WISE YOU WILL GET A SECTOR ERROR!!!IN GEAR DVD PRO, THIS WILL NOT AFECT PLAY BACK AT ALL.

WELL THATS IT I HOPE THIS INFO HELPS YOU,OR SOMEONE ELSE.
THANKS MASTER DVD

Very basic :confused: question since no one seems to ellaborate on the dummy file.
In Collateral Damage Title2/PGC4 has only 1 frame.
How do I create an empty video file that can be imported in Scenarist?

Also, else in CCE & IFOEdit guide it is recommended to keep all audio tracks consistent. So I need one empty AC3 file too. HeadAC3he.rar download has one readme file only. What am I missing?

Hi I am trying to backup collateral damage spitting into 2 DVDRs. Since this movie has 6 PGCs I get the usual Illegal navigation error. However when I look at the VGM_MAT First Play PGC it is already setted to Jump to Tittle 2. Where do I need to go from there ?
I use Ifoedit 0.932
