I was wondering if anyone bought these discs and can confirm which brand they are (advdinfo) and/or if they have the DARK PURPLE (like ritek) bottom or LIGHT PURPLE (like dvdpro and optodisc).

I buy my DVDs from them. Here's what I get in advdinfo:

The LD is for LeadData. I haven't made a coaster I can attribute to anything other than my stupidity. And I've burned about 40 Backups.

I'm gonna order more soon. I recommend them. Feel free to ask me some more questions if you like.

P.S. I've never seen light purple dye, but this looks dark purple to me.

1) do you buy this exact media that I posted? (they sell alot of brands there).

I have never bought the hundred pack, but I've bought the 10 and the 25 packs. I would bet their all the same.

As for the color, its hard to tell. It doesn't like as dark as the dark one but not as light as the light one. They look like the picture allmedia provides on the website. If I look at the disc at one angle, its sorta light, and another its sorta dark. That's why I say in between. THe color never approaches either extreme.
