IVTC and Decomb (cycle paterns)

asking for some help to determine wich patern of cycle i should use
my source schema is: 2progressives+4interlaceds all the time...
what cycle should i use for it?>
is this possible to be ivtc'ed?

forget it, this is no proper telecing, and there is no way to get a really good result, I tried so much (make a search if you want) and I given up.
This is all the fault of the makers of the DVD or video master.

Make interlaced SVCD or X-SVCD out of it, DivX will look crap.

Sounds like it would be a lot easier to get an NTSC source and hack the region coding, than to try to fix every combination of ways NTSC->PAL conversions can be fucked up.

actually, I'M using a NTSC source
its 29.970 with 2progressives/4interlaceds frame pattern
if i was using a PAL source i would never ask for ivtc help!:D
some ppl are blessed with pal source acx, and some cry out loud with NTSC-SCREWED sources

I've come across that pattern before, it was PAL material converted into NTSC. You could try:

ChangeFPS(30)
Telecide()
Decimate(6)

Which will bring you back to PAL framerate. You will probably have a few blended frames (due to blended fields) but with me it gave very smooth playback.

oh! it was a PAL video originally?! oh, I havn't figured that out, so sorry for the missinformation, I thought you had real NTSC video which was screwed up (on that ones you can be rest assured, there is really no good solution :D)
