These questions consern both Vdub and the ATI TV Wonder VE card, im not sure which forum this fits in, hope I picked the right one.
1. There are artifacts EVERYWHERE! I cant make them go away unless I am recording, vieweing video in or tv tuner mode produces them all over the window, they only go away when I start encoding.
2. I tried to set up a custom video recordign mode, but it wont let me configure a SINGLE one of my AVI codecs. Every single codec's config button is greyed out, and I know these codecs can be configured because ive used other programs to configure them before.
3. Is there any way I can use this card in vdub? I got the wrappers and tried but all I get is a still frame of whatever the card was displaying the second I select the card, the image never updates even when encoding.
4. I dont know what I did but now WHENEVER I choose Capture AVI in Vdub my pc reboots! I tried everythign, reinstallign vdub, deleting registery entries, reinstalling the vfw->wda (or whatever they are called) wrappers. Nothing works, vdub keeps crashing.
5. The program that came with my card also cant seem to encode in uncompressed AVi mode, thats about the only mode it cant do (and the only mode I WANT to encode it in) it just gives me a still frame, or BADLY skipping and vertically mis-aligned video with working sound.
Thank You for your time.
