Star Trek Wrath Of Khan directors cut is a let down

Well I just bought Star Trek Wrath Of Khan directors cut and its kind of a let down. When they redid Star Trek The Motion picture I crapped the first time I saw it, every sound effect was new, all kinds of new sounds were added, and even new cool special effects scenes were reshot. There's nothing like this in Wrath Of Khan, its just the directors cut and thats about it. I'm bummed. God life sucks

I mean would it have been too much to ask for some new sound effects or maybe just redo a few scenes on a computer? But nnnoooooooo

The Motion Picture is something diffrent.

Its a directors edition, or rather the chance for the orginal director to finally make the movie how he had invisioned. The movie was plagued with so many issues, and studios decesions, its amazing it was ever released.

Kahn is just a collectors edition. I new transfer, cleaned up sound, and some extras. IMHO its still alot better then the 1st DVD of Kahn.
