Just curious if the people running Avisynth.org still needed a new layout... I made one at

http://www.eccentrix.com/personal/dwevlo/

its ok, should be ok until maybe you guys get something better.

I like that design :) More colours, but not overloaded! Nice work, let's see if Richard likes it, too!

Thanks for the work,

and best regards,
Koepi

Looks nice. Simple and fast. My only critique is that it's too dark. Lighten up and wash out the color a little and it'll be a lot easier on the eyes.

Ok I took your advice and made it lighter, making the text easier to read.

Looks very...blue :) Definitely better than the current look of the main site. I was planning to patch the Wiki with the look-n-feel of this one (http://www.easytopicmaps.com) (guy sent me his code) -- guess it's time to poll the audience whether we should use both (i.e. continue the separate main & wiki sites), one, or neither of these designs.

If all that needs to be changed is the color, that can be done very easily. Right now its grayscale tables, that use 1x1 gifs (in varying shades of blue) for backgrounds... just replace those 7 images and you have a whole new color scheme.

I thought something was... odd. I got a flash of a greyscale version before it all turned blue.

To be honest, I prefer the grey version. I'm a fan of color, but not on pages I'm reading. And especially not on something about graphics. If you need to look at the docs and you are in the middle of actually doing work, all that color alters your perception.

A subtle grey shade to a page actually improves its readability, I think. Makes it easier on the eyes than all that color.

Meanwhile, I still can't get photoshop to load my damn fonts.

I redid the whole layout again... I think this one is quite nice, colors are fairly decent, and most importantly, the text should be much easier to read.
