i tried to encode a -d2v-vfapi avi on cce.i made all thr settings and when i click encode and save the file i obtain this message:couldnt find appropriate video codec for 'VIFP'.I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO?PLEASE HELP ME.nelnan@msn.com

You need to install the codec, run the vifpset.bat file which came with the vfapi package.

thank you very much.i already install thecodec,but i dont understand what you mean by run the vifpset.bat.excuse for this am a newbie.thaks nelnan@msn.com

When you extract the Vfapi zip file, in the directory 'codec' there is a file named 'vifpset.bat', you need to run that file. just double click on it. Read the readme.txt for more info.
