I have done the searching, but I can't find an answer to this question relative to movie info from IMDB.

I usually rip all the movies I am got to convert first, then batch process the actual conversion. For each movie I do the following:
1. Open dvd2svcd
2. under misc tab, select the "default output folder"
3. under CD Image tab, select "Movie info (IMDB)"; This gives me a title picture which is stored in the dvd2svcd program folder as "cover(x).jpg" and the fields of information about the movie; I select "Use cover as title picture"
4. I then go back to the CD Image tab and make sure "Include movie info on CD" is checked
5. I then "rip only"
6. Close dvd2svcd

I follow the above steps for each movie to be ripped. Then do batch processing.

If you look at the files in the dvd2svcd program folder, there will be cover picture entries for each movie. My question is this. Where is the movie info (the info obtained from the IMDB) stored for each individual movie when I follow the steps outlined above? Will only the last database read be applied to all the movies or will each IMDB database be preserved and applied during the batch process?

Sorry, I have to do a better job of proof reading. The second sentence should read "I am GOING to convert", not GOT.

I am not sure what you mean by "info obtained from IMDB database". The only thing that you get from IMDB is the cover of the movie and the name of the movie. If you do a batch process all of these setting will be saved.

Using the IMDB, you also get a list of the actors and their roles, the director, brief synopsys of the movie, etc. All this info will appear in the text file appended to the burned cd's if you have chosen to save movie info on cd.

OK now I see what you mean. I dont know if that stuff will be saved as I never bothered to look. I would assume that it would be though along with the pics and the name of the CD. If it dosent save then you might have found a bug. Let me know if it works for you.

Yes, indeed, DVD2SVCD does save all the info from IMDB and applies it properly to multiple jobs running batch. The first time I tried it I must have made a mistake somewhere, that was why I originally posted the question.

That is good to know. Thank you for the information. :)
