Hi,
I've got some problems converting captured MJPEG Avis to SVCD using CCE...
Well, where should I start...normally I capture using Huffyuv then frameserve via VirtualDub or Avisynth to CCE (2.50 SP) and everything used to work flawlessly...
Until today where I captured the first time with compression in MJPEG (PICVideo 2.10.0.25 - de- and compressor both registered). I had to to so, because HD space wasn't enough for Huffyuv.
The created AVI files play properly in various Media Players. I can open and edit them in VirtualDub. Avisynth can frameserve them to Media Player, VFAPI can read them (of course you can't convert AVI to AVI with VFAPI but VirtualDub and as I said Avisynth can frameserve them and then I can open them with VFAPI).
But as soon as it comes to transcoding nothing works anymore. When I open those AVIs in CCE 2.50 (directly or frameserved, doesn't matter) everything works fine, I can set up anything I want but as soon as I hit the encode button the program crashes (no CCE Error Message, just the "standart" Windows Message).
When I open them in CCE 2.64 the behaviour is slightly different. Opening them directly doesn't work anymore(funny error message saying "The "). Frameserved through VD and VFAPI (cause as you know 2.64 can't open .avs directly) works like in 2.50 and when I hit encode, the conversion window apear, the program doesnt't crash or freeze but just does nothing...
TMPEG works fine though...but estimated 24 hours encoding time for 46 minutes of video 2pass vbr with normal motion search is IMHO nothing but overkill...
AVIs using any other codec (I tried DivX, XviD, huffyuf and uncompressed) work just fine so I'm assuming it's all about MJPEG - but I don't know why....
Any suggestions?
