DVD Decrypter from a HD folder

Hi.
I did a search in threads but did not find any relative topic, so sorry if already asked.

Is there any way to use dvd decrypter from a folder on the HD.
I rent DVD in a 4-hours-it-is-cheaper automated machine, and so I rip Full DVDs and work on it later. It would be great if I can use demux tools of DVD Decrypter on the ripped folder, but I cannot find how to do that.

Is there a way ?
If not, is it in the to-do list of next version ?

No this isnt possible.
The current tight integration with low level i/o code makes this hard to implement.
All you can do is rip the dvd in iso mode first, and then use that iso in DAEMON Tools to rip the streams and stuff you want at a later date.

Yes, I think it's a good idea to use ISO+daemon.
I thought about it also and will do my next rip that way.

Ok. I did an ISo this time. Worked perfectly, but i was sure it's OK before..

But, demux is not so efficient to use, at least for my use.

What I would find fabulous is a Decrypt for authoring button...

put all Ifo in a /IFO dir, put vob main movie (full vob to allow substrip later) + demuxed AC3 streams in a /Main dir, and all other vts in /bonus dir with vob + ac3 streams and if less than 200 Mb, directly m2v+ac3

better, would be .d2v for every vob and .avs for avysinth..

:-) in fact everything i do manually before starting re-encoding and authoring.

I already really papreciate the maestro chapter generation.
Should be nice to add CCE chapter generation.


anyway, thanks a lot for your tool. not a complaint here, but just my vision of a perfect ripper tool.
