The Hole - Not Encrypted

I thought this was strange, I just extracted the hole & it had no encryption.

sometimes dvds are not encrypted,especialy old ones.In greece where I live sometimes companies make their own dvds which r not encrypted

Bearing in mind how easy it is to rip CSS encoded DVDs, I do wonder why they even bother.

I guess they still bother because most people who simply drag the vobs to their hdd and find out that approach doesn't work, quit right away and will never find out how wonderful the world of dvd is. It's all a matter of persistence or encouragement in any way. Did you see what the auhtors of e.g. 3d studio max tried to prevent naughty kids from installing copied software? The kids needed just a tiny bit more persistence (6 minutes i hear) to break it. That means all the rightful owners indeed have to pay for new anti-copy-techniques. All who pay for their dvds have to pay for everything distibutors try to prevent copying. etc let's quit this thread ;-) sorry for posting
