Hello!

Don't know if this is the right forum this isn't exactley "PC HARDWARE" so any moderators feel free to move it to a more appropriate section!

Here we go...

I live in sweden but bought a Centrum Gemini DVD Player from netonnet.de since they had a great price compared to netonnet in sweden. After some months I have discovered that the picture is 1. ti wide, the picture is "out of the watchable tv-screen" in both right and left side, top and bottom are allthough fine. 2. The picture is also to much to the left...we're talking 15% image loss because so much is outside the tv-screen (on the left). This is very clear when watching a DVD wiht subtitles where they should be centered they are now a little to the left. My neighbour bought the same player also from netonnet.de and also he has the exact same problem with a totally different tv-set (I by the way have a Thomson 32" 100Hz WS). I have tried all new Firmwares and also editing them manually to try different tv-standards etc but nothing seems to help.

However, the dvd player is not broken. Because if I connect it to my ASUS V6600 Graphics/capper card the picture is in total center and alla thge picture is clearly visible...

So is there anyone who knows anything about this problem ? I'm thinkging that perhaps the centrum geminis that are sold in sweden comes with a diferent firmware that supports another tv-standard or whatever....

Please if someone have anything to add don't hesitate 'cause I'm soon going nuts here

Thanks in advance and best Regards, Olle
