I'm curious...if the original DVD video is encoded progressive at 23.x frame rate, then if I re-encode it, shouldn't I encode it at 23.x frame rate again non-interlaced? the reason I ask is Tmpgenc automatically selects 29.976 for the frame rate and interlaced. i wonder if this is is causing some of my audio sync problems...
the only way i can change the frame rate, is to start a new project in tmpgenc. the wizard greys out changes to the frame rate and interlace settings.
By the way, the reason I'm doing this, is I wanted to extract scenes from a DVD and compile them into one "collection dvd". i've tried all sorts of methods of doing this..and none have worked out perfectly.
