Hello,
I have used Ifoedit to strip all but one audio stream from my DVD-9 and kept no subtitles. However, I still end up with 4.42 GB of data and the video is 1:58 (740x480 NTSC) in length. This is too big for a DVD-R. Should I also dump the ending credits to make it fit? Do most people also run into this issue where parts of the video need to be clipped to backup a DVD-9 to DVD-5? Is there another option? I have all the boxes checked in VOB Extras setting except Re-Mux, Rebuild PTS, Split to 2 DVD-Rs, and Remove IIvu/Angle Point. I also noticed that if I click on the stream I am ripping in Ifoedit, I have options such as the video resolution can be kept at either 720x480 or reduced to 704x480 or 352x480 or 352x240. Are these options also valid for reducing the video size?
Please advise as to how I might play around with the DVD-9 to make it fit on a DVD-5. Thanks in advance.
