Region 2 Menu-Region 1 movie?

I just split a film down to two discs using ifoedit.The original film was region 1 when I ripped it.Now I've added all the extras and done the region free button on all vob files to region 2.Everything plays fine except when the movie is about to start it says wrong format for your region....Is there some other error that can cause this to occur?I changed the no of chapters.If each chapter as different cells do you add these onto the chapters?Any help appreciated.

R1 is NTSC, R2 is PAL. Your player is trying to tell you it can't play NTSC.
