CCE 2.50.01 with CRC patch crashes;

Hello I have an Athlon XP2100 on a Asus A7v333 with 512MB DDR running XP Pro.
I installed CCE SP 2.50.01 and tried to decode a avs script.
Single Pass VBR works fine but when I do a Multipass VBR I get something about a CRC error.
So I applied the CRC patch that I've read somewhere but now CCE windows says after a while that CCE has had a serious error etc etc.
The patch stated that it was for v2.50 could that be the problem since I have v2.50.01?

strange, I'm running v2.50 on a XP1800+, but I haven't experienced any problems after the CRC patch.
Did it happen more than once, always with the same movie, have you tried shutting down several programs...?
And what kind of serious error was it?

i had the same issue, but it was because i had the average and max bps numbers too close. try making them more than 130bps different from each other, and test and come back to tell us if it works.

like i did, i setted rams to ultra mode, then

i also had this crc failure alway on 1st pass (2nd run)

after patching all probs fixed
