Auto Crop program

I've made a small VB program (:rolleyes: ) to get the best avisynth crop values opening a D2V file. It detects black position from a set of randomized frames.

Usage :

- Type in the MPEG2DEC.DLL path, you should better copy mpeg2dell.dll in c:\ cause it's the default path.

- Choose a number of frames you want to analyse. Default is 50 but you can easily decrease to 10 frames if you want to try.

- Open the D2V file, detection is going to begin

Needed :

- VB6 Runtimes
- Avisynth

You have the same thing in GordianKnot.
but you can't choose the number of frame.

Nice prog Masure but I think you prog doesn't consider the ITU standart like GKnot, thus have an aspect ratio error..If you have seen in GKnot, cropping is relevant to the chosen resolution..

Hi, maybe you could take a look at a little program I made for myself a while back, as it takes in crop, source (h,w) values and returns valid resize resolutions.
