I am in the process of converting some DV footage from my camcorder(taken at 720x576) into a format to fit onto a DVD.
I am using the latest version of TMGEnc and have taken the standard "DVD PAL" template.
I have made a few modifications (i.e 2 PASS VBR, 10 bit etc) but am stuck on what I need to do for "Source Aspect Ratio"
At default its set to "4:3 625 line PAL (704x576)"!
Is this what I need? As my original footage is 720x576, what will changing it to 704x576 do?
What setting should I be using? I am guessing that it should be "4:3 625 lin PAL", but I don't understand why its set as '704x576' as default for a DVD.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Any info apprecaited
