dvd2avi - in the "video" "YUV->RGB" what is the difference between the pc and tv?

i'd like to know this too... and after searching all i could find was this link here...

And the link it hass insite gies me a 404... so bad luck.. maybe i came here too late... a little help on this paticular issue would be very apreciated.
