View Full Version : noise of high frequency

Hi there,

I'm having slight problems encoding to the VCD-Standard using Smart Ripper, DVD2AVI and TMPGEnc. Picture quality is very fine overall but what is really annoying is that at some passages of the film "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (and ist really seems to correlate with certain passages of the movie) a noise (sound, kind of beeping) of very high frequency joins the normal movie sound. Using other templates (other Movies/DVDs) showed me, that this problem does not appear standardly that means: Other VCDs are just fine. So, are there any options in TMPGEnc or the other programs which may fix this problem.

Thanks,

Martin!

P.S: I also tried external Audio-Encoders, but: No difference!

Did you also use an external sampling rate converter? SSRC?
