When using the guide explaining how to use DVDMaestro to re-create DVDs do you need to add the chapters in CCE?

In my understanding the only thing you gain by importing chapters in CCE is that an I-frame is forced at chapter marks. If you (like me) don't care if Maestro sets the chapter marks to next/previous/nearest GOP (I-frame) you can save some time by not doing it in CCE.
