I am very pleased with them. I bought the ones for $1.59 in the 100 pack. ADVDINFO shows them as being "TDKG01" No failures yet. They only burn at 1X, though.
how does it play back any skips or funny things happen do they play smooth on playback i stand alone?

They've played perfectly on every standalone I've tried. But, as we all know, different folks experiences vary.

Just to say that I ordered 100 unbranded DVD-R from meritline.com and they work in my Mustek DVD Player
Can someone tell me if the Lord of The Deals DVDs in the UK are any good. I'm from Portugal and I ordered those DVD-R from meritline in the US but then I had to pay a f@@@@n amount of custom taxes so now i learned that i can only buy DVD-R or other stuff from EU countries only

@sebasman
The DVDs from Lord of the Deal are very good. They look more professional as the Meritline deals. However I calculated their price and compared to the shipping and import duties I had to pay, I can tell you that they are still 1.5 Euro per DVD more expensive.
But they are good and play fine in my Pioneer.
