Well, hi guys, I've been waiting for five days to post this topic, but I have to say I discovered a lot during these on your board...

I know this has been talked through but as I intend to make a quality DVDRiP, there are still some of my questions which are not answered yet.

Everyone knows these Eva DVD's are horribly encoded for only one reason : the telecine scene-change jitter...

I managed to remove the noisy white line that appears along with the jitter by performing a manual IVTC (with TMPGEnc)... fine. But the jitter remains. I tested DigiStudio stabilizer, but it doesn't seem to perform what I want it to... (and I only have the annoying shareware version). I also tried steady-deinterlace, but it doesn't work at all. Isn't there any filters out there that really succeeds in removing this encoding artifact?

And what about the ghosting effect?

Thanks in advance.

yes indeed (as I already said, the 5-day registration delay is annoying but very effective ;))
