Need help finding a substatute for a watermark

I don't wannna have a watermark sitting there the entire time, I was wondering if anyone here knew a way get a few words on in the beginning the encode could be recognized as mine.

You can use one of the VDub filters - logo - and, as far as I remember it correctly - you can set the display time.
And you can always use Premiere to create some kind of a trailer at the beginning of the movie and join it with the right one - but this is where fun begin....

aleksander's right. If you can create a bitmap, then you can use the Logo Filter to place it on the screen wherever you want for however long you want. Here's the Logo Filter (http://sauron.mordor.net/dgraft/logo13b4.zip).
