I get a lot of out of sync audio. I've come up with a few ways to work around it, but... they don't work perfectly...
I load up the MPEG-2 with DVD2AVI 1.86 and then compress to DivX 5.0.2's two-pass encoding. I've noticed that DVD2AVI uses the frame rate of 29.975 when compressing stuff, even though it's really 29.976. But that doesn't seem to work with MPEG-2 audio streams - it only seems to work with AC3 audio. Something else I was doing to get it working was also compressing each ind. vob file, and then appending them latter with Virtual Dub. However, that takes way to much time an effort. I've seen some people suggesting that SmartRipper be used to rip the audio seperatly, but... that won't solve my current problem, since I'm trying to do it with an MPEG-2 file I made with a TV capture card. So, anyways... IS there an EASY way to get in sync audio with DVD2AVI? And WHY is this such a big problem!?
