upside down encode [Archive]

i just used fairuse and it encoded my movie upside down. lol how do i fix it. is there a way to fix it without reencoding. i only use fairuse because its easy. if anyone can help then plz tell me

I've never heard any reports of this before. Please check your player to make sure that it is not flipping the video during playback. For example, Sasami has an option to do this (F11).

If you think it's not your player, try loading the AVI into VirtualDub and see if the image is upside-down in that.

I remember having such a problem with an encode
tho not using fairuse

check to make sure the resolution of the movie is correct
sometimes a weird resolution does that
and install divx4 again

fu2k, Vobsub can also flip the picture in any player, I agree it might be such a setting (I think these flip settings are made for some projectors?)
