Well I have encoded several animes recently where the 2nd pass suddenly stopped because of power failure or bad sectors in the disc and maybe other reasons as well. I was using gknot's 1-button encoding (I don't know the right term.).
Is there a way to manually continue (from start) without having to use gknot. I had a look at config window (divx codec tab) of divx502 in virtualdub. Based from what I saw, I think I can only use 2-pass encoding. But I also think that using this option will overwrite the previous 1st-pass log file that I got.
This will greatly save me time as I don't need to do 1st-pass processing again. There will be no changes to the .avs script so the .log file created during the 1st-pass is still valid.
thank you. :)
