Movie is under 4.37 GB

I am backing up a DVD that is under the 4.37GB file size. Since I don't care about any of the extras, subtitles or other language tracks, would it be smart to use the CCE + Maestro method to get great quality, or another process?

If its under 4.37 gig, then use smartripper, hit the backup button, rip it to your drive, then burn it. It will give you an exact duplicate of the DVD

from what i can understand you want to remove the extras etc so that can reencode the movie at a higher bitrate and have a greater quality of movie. I am sorry to dissapoint you but you cannot get a higher quality than the source.
