Hardware MPEG-2 Encoder vs. CCE

I am looking to buy a hardware MPEG-2 Encoder and would like to know if they are better than CCE?

The Cards:

Sonic SD-2000 Encoder
Optibase MPEG Fusion
Spruce MPEGXpress 2000
Optivision VSTOR 150

The Cards are around $20,000 to $50,000

I do not want to fork out that kind of cash if the quality is not better than CCE
