I searched the whole Forum to find help, but I still have the same prob! I switched from VFAPI to link2 (registered), but when i try to convert a movie, cinemacraft can't find any files. I looked into the output-folder and the name of the files are diffrent to the files DVD2SVCD tries to send to cinemacraft encoder.
Thanx in advance, THCM!

Hi THCM,
are you using Link2 version 0.95? I did test it yesterday and always get the error that CCE can't create the "AviSynth_Script_file_avs-vfapi.avi" in the conversion directory. I searched for the file and it's created in my WINNT\system32 directory instead - no wonder that the process stops then.
This error does not occur if I use Link2 0.942 - and I always made sure that my path was short enough that Link2's 38 characters limit didn't kick in.
Perhaps, dvd2svcd can clear things up wether this error is caused by Link2 or by DVD2SVCD or CCE.
I couldn't find a way how to prevent it, when using the misplaced .avi file directly with CCE it worked then.
Hope this helps,
Gerti
Edit: Edited for the correct file name - was the wrong at first.

Confirmed here, the new link2 has changed something in the commandlind of the program and doesn't work with dvd2svcd. I'll see what I can do about that.
