i been thru every step with doom9 and i do not no what i am doing wrong ?????

i have windows xp ntfs
i am tring to copy dvd movie on to hard drive
rip it ( all files )
analyze it ( think i have worked it out )
strip all unwanted files & creat new ifo files
make region free
bla bla bla

but what ever movie i do i am missing VIDEO_TS.VOB FILE


WHAT COULD I BE DOING WRONG ??????

Hi Jet,
When you strip the VOB's Ifoedit writes them to a new directory. If you ripped the 'whole' disc the VIDEO_TS.*** files will still be in the original directory. Once you have used the DVD play in Ifoedit to see what you need to keep - you must manually copy over the other files into the new directory.
Then try to DVDplay again with the ripped files. If you are keeping the Menu then you need to open VIDEO_TS.IFO. This should then play like a normal DVD. If it checks out O.K. run get VTS sectors and burn away. Hope this helps,
