i have searched but found nothing answering what i am after. perhaps this question is too simple.
i have a SV-CD vid that i have chopped in two, but somehow i managed to have one of the files at 776meg's
but that file @776mb's is only 62 mins.
theres no way a 776 meg file can fit on a 700meg CD-R even though its only 62 minutes, right ??
burner i am using is a Ricoh 32x8x8
thanx in advance

SVCD doesn't burn like Audio or traditional Data CD's
All you need to know is 74minCD's can fit 740MB and 80minCD's can fit 800MB. That's why you have those 2 sizes in the DVD2SVCD bitrate tab.

oh really ??
thats cool!!
this wouldnt apply to DivX though huh ??
i dont use DVD2SVCD as it keeps crashing my system. i use Clad XP, works sweet!
so this 776 meg file of SV-CD format will fit on my 80min CD's (700mb's) even though on Nero it shows its way over the limit ??
this is great news!! :D

no, of course not divx as it is just regular Data
yes, it probably shows over the limit because it is over the limit for a "normal" 74min CD.
I guess since you don't use DVD2SVCD, you probably posted this in the wrong place.
