Hi,
I tested out the NTSC DV AVI to MOV conversion on Adobe Premiere, Vegas Video and Ulead Media Studio Pro Trial editions. All behave identically in the sense that the timestamp information is lost in the MOV file. I know for sure its there in the NTSC DV AVI since I checked up the AVI file with CatDV.
Does anybody know any reason as to why the conversion drops the datacode (timestamp) information from the AVI file?
Sounds strange...May be nobody realized...!!!
Any insights on this?
