When using IfoEdit to split a DVD9 (Cast Away) everything (after a few hours of work and learning) worked just fine as far as split and both DVD's working with all features and chapters. Only problem is that neither DVD is working in stand alones (I have Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, all under 6 mos. of age). I have read various posts regarding a problem that I may have in authoring these DVD's, but have not been able to figure it out. I have tried to burn using Prassi 2.0, which gives me error stating"Data job terminated with errors. I have read that this may be because of a mistake that I have made. Have tried to re-author and same result. In Nero 5.9 I can burn but no stand alone compatibility. I have used both DVD Decrypter and Smrt Pipper to extract ALL files from DVD's. I even have tried to rip a DVD<4.3 with both rippers and then burn the entire file structure to DVD. This worked in both Nero and Prassi with no probs and have total stand alone compatibility. It seems that any time that I try to use IfoEdit to modify anything I will get errors in burning programs. I have an AMD950mhz, Pioneer A04 and 160GB HD. I have tried both DVD-r's and DVD-RW's but same result. I have followed the split instructions to the letter and still have probs. Appreciate any input and help...Thanks
