Gordian Knot? I love it ! thanks so much to the creators of this program and its component parts. I thought that a packaged program could not compare to doing it seperately but wow this is great I have had perfect divx files that are 702 mbs exactly! something I couldnt dream of. and the quality is more than good enough for me.
So now I have only one question, what is the next step ? (and is it expensive) I am very very satisfied extatic pleased etc.

I really really respect your decisions on making this a free program and I wish you hadnt cuz it could have made some people quite wealthy!
I wish I had known about dvd ripping (and how simple it can be) a long time ago

I'm sure TheWEF will be pleased to read that (if he reads it at all).

You know, ripping wasn't as easy as it is today. When Doom9 started his site, there wasn't a good site with guides out there - and Gordian Knot wasn't available at that time (FlaskMPEG was used rather often at the beginning...)

I'd say we can thank all people and especially the developers of these great tools that have inspired and influenced others like TheWEF to make even greater programs... After all, Gknot isn't just one tool programmed entirely by one author but a collection of the best (free) ripping & encoding software.

But I agree with five smilies anyway. TheWEF rules!
