hello

i have been using winoncd 5 to make mp3 albums on cdr which play great on my panasonic xv10 at 320kps - typically six albums per cdr!!

now i wish to extend this to dvdr because i reckon i can get 35-40 albums on a dvdr

however when i burned such a disk i found the xv10 did not recognise the disk. i suppose this is because the xv10 is expecting cdr iso formatting whereas dvdr used udf/iso

so my question is this
how to make a dvdr look like a very big cdr so that it will play on the xv10?

I had no sucess either on my philips 622. I guess you could play around on an dvd-rw with different templates in f.i Nero.

I also think it's kinda hard to fool the player into thinking that it's a cd ... cause if you do the player will use a differnet lazer, which wont be able to read of the DVD. I am aware that there are single laser players, but I think not too many. So the hope I have is that an update of the firmware will fix this, it's really all there is to it ... it's that simple. But whether or not they'll
do it is an entirely different question, see.

cheers and good luck ... tell us if you succeed.
