SVCD Preset outdated in DVD2SVCD?

Hi!

Somebody in the chat told me that the SVCD Preset (Misc->Load Settings->SVCD-Settings.ini) ist rather outdated and that I should use other settings. Is he right?

I wouldn't ask but why is "Change CD Picture" deactivated in "Cd Image"? Is it more compatible to use fixed chapters instead the DVD ones? And what about the PBC settings? Why is audiobitrate set to 160; is this more compatible too?

...or is this really outdated

Hi Ewi,

how can a setting that meets the SVCD specs and is set to be known the least problematic for a big variety of users be "outdated"? - It just makes sure you will get some SVCDs that meet the specifications, in the end.

You are free to lurk around in the forums and find tons of suggestions to adapt those settings to fit your needs.
