Udated my Nero version to 5.5.9.0 and just found out I couldn't burn on a CD-RW media with Pioneer A104 burner a MPV file that plays perfect. As soon as I multiplexed it with the M2P audio it burned fine. The error that it displayed was during Nero's check when I drag and drop the file into the box to be added to the CD. I turned of the compliant check and all other settings are according to what has been posted here.

ERROR Message:

Internal error in CVCDDoc::IsProperMediaItem:MyFile.mpv

Now I have a need to burn just MPV files. My DVD player will not play SVCDs, it halts and stutters through it. If I just play the video portion of the SVCD it plays perfect and if I author the SVCD on a DVD-R it plays perfect. Thus I want to check aspect ratios on my TV by playing a short MPV clip before doing the whole thing.

Any ideas how to make Nero burn MPVs or how to turn off this check?

I don't know what kind of a check that NERO would be doing. It might be as simple as changing the extention to something like .MPG or .M2V and trying this. Are you using any templete in NERO?

All I do is click NEW select CD Super Video make sure that all the settings there are proper and uncheck the mark for compliant SVCD. Than from the right column you drag the files to the left column and a box pops up where a verification or check is taking place and this is where it bombs.

Will try changing the extension which would be pretty daft if that is all it takes. Since 5.5.9.0 has been released only recently it could be a bug.
