Hi uhh im trying to encode a Xvid raw to divx. But when i encode the fps mess up and it looks like im only playing at liek 4fps. it tells me cause the raw is a unknown VBR source. Im trying to get thsi raw to encode but problems liek this happen. If you guys can help me. I will be stupid happy :D

a _very_ good question : reencoding will always loose quality. and even more from XviD to another codec :cool:

Yes, marcFD has totally right, the reencoding means loss quality, and reencoding with sbc could mean even freeze frames (but there are options to minimize them),to reduce the quality loss try to filter the input video to have a better start point.

2 marcFD btw:i've download your copysame filter, very interesting for anime encoder like me, can you suggest good values instead the bad html attached in the file (because the options used for that test refer to an old release)?TNX

Aren't they samples values in the readme.html ??
In fact i'm waiting for a Z-frame dropping capable XviD :
With such a powerfull encoder, CopySame would be usable @ 100%
and you would be able to gain significative size reduction (about 10 to 20 %)

if you want to have the better values you simply need to tweak with debug mode : It's designed for and very simple to use.
Search settings who drop only potential Z-frames.
You can begin with this settings :
CopySame(2,4,8,1000,3)
but it's very soft so you _should_ change some values
use the HUD to determine the best dropping value (here 1000)

PS : There is a CopySame Thread no ?? :D
