How can I convert an AVI file (from Pinnacle STUDIO 7) to MPG2 (SVCD) with the use of the CCE 2.5SP encoder.
I have used the TMPGEnc for this purpose but the video camera movements does not show as smooth movements in SVCD. I have heard that the CCE encoder can give better results, but how to use it ??

a. Get CCE 2.5SP.
b. Load your avi into CCE.
c. Read the guides on this site on how to encode using CCE. Try it.
d. See if you like CCE results - most seem to prefer CCE for MPEG2 encoding over TMPG - way faster and higher quality IMO.

I do have CCE 2.5SP but I don't know how to open AVI's.
When I try to open an AVI, I get the message this is not an Encoder Control List file( .ecl) ??
Rightklick in the white field and select "add" or drag and drop your avi into the white field.
