Im trying to rip a dvd at full res, when I crop the bars off its fine but when I correct the aspect ratio the w-zoom goes over 100%. Will this effect the quality of the film?
Thanks

It would mean that the output is wider than the input. Shouldn't make too much of a difference as the added part will be interpolated. Of course it's not perfect, but if you also consider the imperfect resizing process and the imperfect compression by the codec, I don't see much harm in it :).

its not a problem now, i decreased a few pixels from the auto crop and then smart cropped it and it's ok
