Anyone have a clue how to burn SVCD's with 900 meg movies?, a regular 650 megs should be able to fit 35 mins, my file is 40 mins, so it should fit on a 900 meg. But when Nero is supposed to start to burn it claims that it won't fit. How do I get Nero to realise that it will fit?

Anyone?

an 900MB file won't fit on a normal 80-Min CD-R. You need a 90-Min CD-R & a burner capable to go this far!
And your file has to fit the SVCD specs, that means:
Total bitrate < 2710kbps
Videobitrate < 2600kbps and has:
MPEG-2 480x576 25fps if it's PAL
MPEG-2 480x480 23,976 or 29,97fps if it's NTSC
And Audio has to be MP2

My burner IS capable of burning this far, the SVCD format is correct, and the tracktime is 83 minutes. I have a99 minutes CD.. This really should work, are you sure it has'nt got something to do with Nero?

Demultiplex your file and multiplex it again in bbMPEG, if you're sure that your file is SVCD compliant.

And then of course, overburning must be allowed, somewhere in the properties you can setup the max time allowed. And then you must burn in Disc-At-Once mode.
